A Night With Neil Diamond at Alexa Park LV

The legendary Rob Garrett’s “KING OF DIAMONDS” LAS VEGAS SHOW RESIDENCY CONTINUES ON in the “Alexis Park Modern Showrooms” at Alexis Park Resort Hotel.

Neil Diamond is one of the most successful and beloved singer/songwriters in pop/rock music history.

More than just being one of the best-selling and concert drawing artists ever, he’s also composed the soundtrack of our lives — including some of the most famous songs on the planet.

In January 2018, shortly before his 77th year, Neil Diamond stepped away from live performances after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

However, Diamond’s concert legacy continues to be kept alive for audiences throughout the world through Las Vegas entertainer Rob Garrett, known as America’s premier Neil Diamond tribute performer.

Ask Google “who is the best Neil Diamond tribute artist,” and you’ll always hear Rob Garrett.

Like his musical hero, Rob Garrett was born in Brooklyn, NY.

In the spring of 1974, his parents brought him from New York City to Las Vegas, where, two years later, he witnessed his first Neil Diamond concert when Diamond made his attendance-breaking Las Vegas debut at the Aladdin Theater for the Performing Arts (now “PH Live”) in July 1976.

Garrett went on to see him 16 more times across the country—right up until Diamond’s last American show at the LA Forum on August 12, 2017.

In 1980, Garrett formed his own band, “Rock n Roll Heaven,” and enjoyed a long and successful run in Las Vegas and across the nation before making the move from lead singer of a cover band to a full-time tribute performer dedicated to one of his boyhood inspirations.

In 1995, Garrett was selected by the legendary Paul Revere to portray Neil Diamond in the world-famous “Legends in Concert” review.

What was meant to be a three-month trial turned into a three-year residency.

By August 1998, Garrett was back in Vegas and continued to perform with “Legends” for another two years before deciding to go independent.

He began a nationwide performance schedule, building a devoted fan base along the way—earning the title “King of Diamonds Neil Diamond Tribute.”

He continues to sell out theaters nationwide, often in venues reserved for national acts.

Garrett has also received multiple accolades, Rob Garrett Neil Diamond Tribute Show Las Vegas including “Male Tribute Artist of the Year.”

“Since he (Diamond) announced his retirement, I’ve felt a strong sense of responsibility to keep his legacy alive for future generations. It’s something I never get tired of doing,” he said.

On May 19, 2025 officially proclaimed the date “Rob Garrett Day,” commemorating Rob’s 50 years as a Las Vegas resident and 44 years as a professional Vegas performer.

Now in this year, Garrett celebrates 45 years on stage in Las Vegas, with the last three decades devoted solely to paying tribute to the now-retired Neil Diamond.

It has been said that no other tribute artist is so closely identified with the original performer as Garrett, who has appeared at more Vegas stages than any other.

Since the June closing of “A Beautiful Noise” (the Broadway jukebox musical based on Diamond’s life story), Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” show has become the nation’s sole ongoing Neil Diamond tribute show.

Alexis Park Hotel Las Vegas is located at 375 E. Harmon Ave., near the Las Vegas Strip.
